SANAVITA Health was founded by two naturopathic physicians who believe that patients deserve more than a diagnosis — they deserve a partnership.

We built this practice to bridge a gap we witnessed firsthand: patients navigating some of the most complex decisions of their lives without the tools, time, or language to do it confidently. We are here to change that.

Integrative Oncology & Naturopathic Medicine

Dr. Julio Cantillo is a licensed naturopathic physician with specialized training in integrative oncology and oncology navigation. His clinical focus sits at the intersection of functional medicine, tumor biology, and the metabolic terrain — the environmental, immune, and lifestyle factors that may influence treatment tolerance, recovery, and overall resilience.

Dr. Cantillo holds certifications in integrative oncology and oncology navigation. He has a deep interest in genomics, advanced laboratory interpretation, ctDNA, circulating tumor cells, and the microbiome — and brings these tools into a whole-person clinical framework that complements, not competes with, a patient's conventional oncology team.

He is bilingual in English and Spanish, and has a particular commitment to serving Hispanic and Latino patients navigating complex oncology conversations in their first language. He believes that access to physician-level guidance should not be limited by language, income, or geography — and has structured SANAVITA Health with that principle at its core.

Dr. Thiago Cavalcante, NMD

Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine

Pediatric & Family Naturopathic Medicine

Dr. Thiago Cavalcante Ribeiro is a naturopathic physician with a multidisciplinary background that spans conventional medicine, pediatric care, and integrative psychiatry. Before completing his naturopathic medical training, Dr. Cavalcante trained in Brazil as a physician with a specialty background in otorhinolaryngology (ENT) and cochlear implant rehabilitation — bringing rare technical depth to his understanding of sensory, neurological, and developmental health.

Dr. Cavalcante is completing advanced fellowship training in Pediatric Functional & Integrative Psychiatry, expected July 2026, with a clinical focus on neurodevelopmental conditions including ADHD, autism spectrum disorders, and anxiety in children. He approaches pediatric care from the ground up: gut health, immune resilience, sleep architecture, nutritional foundations, and the behavioral ecology of family systems.

His vision for SANAVITA Health's pediatric program is grounded in a future-facing model of whole-family medicine — one that holds space for complexity, honors parental intuition alongside clinical evidence, and builds the biological foundations for children to thrive. He speaks English, Portuguese, and Spanish.
